Farmers Insurance 1475 is Hiring a Customer Service Advisor Near Saint Charles, MO

Are you a customer service professional looking for a great opportunity in insurance? You might be a perfect fit for our open Insurance Customer Service Representative role. You'll be in charge of giving current policyholders excellent customer service by resolving billing issues, amending policies, and making policy suggestions. Additional tasks include generating policy quotes and providing coverage advice for new and potential customers. Our ideal candidate has previous customer service experience and has excellent rapport with clients. If this sounds like you, please start your application today!

Compensation:

$16 - $20 hourly

Responsibilities:
  • Track current marketing activities, so you can appropriately respond to insurance-related inquiries with all of the resources at your disposal
  • Maintain a record of customer interactions and follow up on their experience with our organization
  • Verify new customers coverage and present policyholders with proof of insurance paperwork
  • Demonstrate accuracy in processing client policy modifications based on the data given
  • Communicate with the customers about complaints, give acceptable solutions, and follow up to ensure that the problem was fixed
  • Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales
  • Establish client relationships and follow up with clients, as needed
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly client support
  • Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success each and every day
  • Develop new financial service opportunities with both existing and new clients
Qualifications:
  • A general understanding of insurance policies and schedules is preferred
  • Position requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Understands how to utilize a database for processing client information and how to use Microsoft Office to create necessary documents
  • Must possess exemplary interpersonal skills, communication skills, and active listening skills
  • You must have previous customer service experience for this position
  • Sales experience or a client-facing background is a plus
  • Insurance experience is preferred, but not required
  • Proven track record of trustworthiness, dependability, and ethical behavior
  • Must be coachable
  • Excellent communication skills: written, verbal, and listening
  • Must have strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Must be motivated and determined
  • Must have a positive attitude, be organized, and be reliable
