Hackmann Lumber is currently hiring Full-Time Customer Service Clerk for Hardware and Building Materials. The Retail Salesperson will assist customers with purchasing merchandise, stocking items, handling cash, answering phones, operating ordering system with retail items and transactions from Contractors and Outside sales.

Must have excellent verbal communication, sales and customer service skills. Ability to anticipate customers’ needs and recommend merchandise to customers. Ability to operate or to quickly learn the store’s point-of-sale system.

Knowledge of general building materials, retail or home center materials, fireplaces and grills is preferred. Schedule does include some weekend hours. Full benefits available after 60 days. Pre-employment drug screen.

Applicant MUST be able to work every other weekend. Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing. Must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance.
