Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Insurance Account Manager to join our team. As an Insurance Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing client accounts, providing exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth. This is a dynamic role that requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of insurance products and services.
Compensation will be dependent on existing level of knowledge of the independent insurance industry, experience in this field, etc. Our team has the infrastructure in place to support a newer candidate in the insurance industry as well.
Duties:
- Manage a portfolio of client accounts and serve as the primary point of contact for all insurance-related inquiries
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients
- Conduct thorough analysis of client policies to ensure adequate coverage and identify opportunities for cross-selling or upselling
- Collaborate and become familiar with insurance carriers to understand terms, rates, and coverage options on behalf of clients
- Process policy changes, endorsements, and renewals accurately and in a timely manner
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing client concerns or issues
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and changes in insurance products and services
- Assist with sales administration tasks such as preparing quotes, proposals, and presentations
Experience:
- Proven experience in the insurance industry, specifically in account management or sales roles
- Strong knowledge of insurance products, including property & casualty, life, and commercial lines
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively explain complex insurance concepts to clients
- Ability to analyze client needs and recommend appropriate insurance solutions, when needed
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building long-term client relationships
