We are searching for a Technical Business Analyst for our client based in South Houston. This role is contract to hire and is a hybrid work schedule (3 days in office).
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Technical Business Analyst proficient in ASP.NET, Visual Basic, and SQL Enterprise technologies to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise and business acumen, enabling them to bridge the gap between IT and business stakeholders. You will play a critical role in analyzing business requirements, translating them into technical specifications, and collaborating with development teams to deliver innovative solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document business requirements.
- Analyze and translate business requirements into technical specifications and user stories.
- Conduct feasibility studies and impact assessments to evaluate proposed solutions.
- Develop and maintain documentation including functional specifications, process flows, and system diagrams.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure technical solutions align with business objectives and requirements.
- Assist in system testing, user acceptance testing, and post-implementation support.
- Provide technical guidance and support to business stakeholders as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in ASP.NET, Visual Basic, and SQL Enterprise technologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst or similar role.
- Strong understanding of ASP.NET, Visual Basic, and SQL Enterprise technologies.
- Proficiency in SQL querying and database design.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMP) are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
- Knowledge of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) is advantageous.
- Understanding of data analytics and reporting tools.
- Previous experience in the finance or healthcare industry is desirable.
