Company Description:
CPA firm seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Office Manager with experience in basic accounting, data entry, and QuickBooks. The role involves preparing tax returns, maintaining accounting records, and handling multiple entities.
Responsibilities:
  • Tax Return Preparation:
    • Compile and organize financial data for accurate and compliant tax returns.
  • Bookkeeping:
  • Manage and maintain accurate accounting records for tax clients.
  • Conduct regular reconciliations of financial accounts.
  • Data Entry:
    • Enter financial transactions into QuickBooks and other software.
    • Maintain up-to-date and organized financial databases.
  • Office Management:
    • Oversee day-to-day office operations.
    • Manage client communication and provide customer service.
  • Experience with Multiple Entities:
  • Handling accounting for multiple entities is a plus.
  • Manage and organize financial information for various clients simultaneously.
Qualifications:
  • Proven bookkeeping experience.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and accounting software.
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles and tax regulations.
  • Strong data entry and organizational skills.
  • Experience in tax return preparation.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
Working Hours:
Part-time, 25-30 hours per week. Schedule to be discussed during the interview.
