Energy Transfer is Hiring a Sr Manager- Brand & Product Marketing Near Dallas, TX

Summary:

The Senior Manager, Brand & Product Marketing will report to the Director of Marketing and be responsible for leading the development and execution of the company's key marketing growth initiatives most notably, the roll out of Sunoco's 94 Octane. In addition, to managing the brand's promotional marketing, the manager will be responsible for leading a team responsible for Sunoco's motorsports sponsorships, as well as influencer, publisher and licensing relationships. This marketing leader will have a broad set of responsibilities to leverage all brand channels such as on-the-lot station signage, sponsorships, digital marketing, paid national and regional advertising, as well as agency management. The Manager will be the champion leading the implementation of key marketing initiatives while working cross functionally and achieving growth goals.

Manage the development and execution of the company's launch of 94 Octane and on-going support of Sunoco Performance and Race Fuels marketing. This includes brand-wide creative development, as well as national and market-by-market media planning. In addition, leading key agency resources to ensure creative, and tactics achieve marketing objectives.

20%

Manage the development of the annual promotional calendar and creative development, as well as the entire print and distribution process that ensures the right point-of-purchase (POP) materials arrive at each of Sunoco's more than 5,300 locations.

15%

Oversee management of performance and 94 Octane messaging in conjunction with organic social media, influencers, sponsorships and publisher partners.

10%

Manage team responsible for motorsports marketing through company's partnerships in Formula 1, NASCAR and NHRA.

10%

Lead management and expansion of licensed products.

5%

Manage the development and execution of the marketing budget, intermittent research projects, as well as the development of agency scope of works.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a strategic thinker with the ability to support the development and execution of marketing plans that align to business objectives.
  • Prior experience developing strategies to market products and/or services in the B2B and/or B2C industries.
  • Proven skillset at leading programs as an experienced project manager.
  • Prior experience planning and leading marketing programs or product rollouts.]
  • The ability to direct and lead agencies.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross functionally with other departments and functions.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
  • 8 years business experience with involvement in marketing, product development and project management.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong project management skills and able to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Ability to present and work with business heads and executives to drive marketing initiatives while communicating and collaborating across internal and external teams.

  • Usually, normal office working conditions.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
  • Up to 20% travel may be required.
  • Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing setting may be required which could cause exposure to hazardous materials such as combustible, flammable, toxic, carcinogenic and other chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery.
