Overview

Empire Office is currently seeking an Coordinator in our Tampa, Florida office to join our team. This position will provide full-time support to one of our clients with various furniture-related requests across their St. Petersburg, FL campus. The candidate will be a hybrid employee based out of Empire Office's Tampa, FL location with ability to work remotely, as well as on-campus at our client's location. 

Coordinator Job Duties:

  • Receive Furniture & Service Requests Through Online Portal
  • Interpret & Respond to Service Requests as Appropriate (i.e. Broken Chair, Malfunctioning Height-Adj. Desk, File Drawer Stuck, etc)
  • Assist End Users in Documenting Required Information as Needed for Warranty Claims
  • Conduct Site Visits and Furniture Evaluations as Needed – Possible Weekly On-Site Day for Appointments
  • Process Furniture Orders Received Through Online Portal
  • Track Order Status & Keep End User Informed of Ship, Delivery, Install Dates
  • Schedule Deliveries, Installations, and Service Requests with Operations
  • Coordinate Invoicing & Close-Out Upon Order/Service Request Completion
  • Follow-Up with End Users Regarding Experience Noting Opportunities for Improvement
  • Engage with Furniture Manufacturers Representatives to File Warranty Claims, Obtain Troubleshooting Guides, etc.
  • Ensure Consistent Communication Between Account Manager, Design Services, Operations, and End Users
  • Make Suggestions for Continuous Process Improvement as Program Evolves

  • Track, Organize, Prioritize Several Requests of Varying Types & Degrees of Difficulty
  • Self-Starter with Desire to Provide Excellent Customer Service
  • Identify Issues/Risks as Encountered & Provide Solutions to Rectify
  • Ability to Collaborate with both Internal & External Team Members
  • Customer Service Focused Mindset with Sense of Urgency to Respond to Requests
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite Including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams
