Element Medical Imaging is Hiring a Bookkeeper/Office Manager Near Overland Park, KS

Under the direction of the Controller, the Bookkeeper position is responsible for performing a variety of bookkeeping and clerical tasks. The position requires processing business transactions, that include accounts payable and receivables as well as expense vouchers and receipts. The position requires familiarity with accounting procedures, attention to detail, accuracy, and flexibility. Ultimately, a successful Bookkeeper will ensure that the company’s daily accounting functions run accurately and effectively to support the business operations.
Responsibilities
  • Manage accounts receivable including preparing invoices, tracking payments and making calls to collect on past due accounts
  • Manage accounts payable including entering invoices, tracking due dates, issuing checks and contacting vendors with questions
  • Run reports and queries from multiple applications
  • Prepare analysis and reports in Microsoft Excel
  • Oversee maintenance of all files, documents and processes for the office
  • Perform general clerical duties including mail, filing paper and electronic materials
  • Provides assistance to the CEO and physicians, including responding to queries in a timely and respectful manner over the phone, by email and in person
  • Manage various administrative and special projects
Qualifications
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Good judgment and resolution skills
  • Ability to interact in a positive manner and to communicate well with internal and external customers
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to change
  • Ability to work independently with minimal to moderate supervision, but take direction
  • Attention to detail when entering financial information
  • Strong in Microsoft office, particularly Excel
  • College graduate preferred
  • 2 years of bookkeeping experience required
