Dwell Designed Construction is Hiring an Office Assistant Near Chattanooga, TN

The Office Assistant plays an integral role on the Dwell team by providing administrative support, overseeing potential client communication, and assisting with the day to day needs of our construction projects. In many cases, you will serve as the first impression for Dwell, so your interpersonal skills as well as your ability to provide excellent customer service are essential to our team. The primary responsibilities of the Office Assistant include:

  • Serving alongside project management and design teams to assist in the execution and completion of construction projects, adhering to the project timeline and reconciling project issues upon request.
  • Preparing and processing material orders and coordinating product deliveries, monitoring each job to ensure that all material purchases are made at the appropriate point in the project timeline.
  • Overseeing the initial communication, follow up, and management of all new client inquiries - answering the main office line, corresponding with potential clients through online form submissions, and scheduling initial meetings with Dwell staff.
  • Managing check distribution each week, corresponding with subcontractors for pick up and mailing checks.
  • Maintaining calendars and scheduling meetings upon request.
  • Coordinating and processing administrative documentation for client signatures, Builder’s Risk coverage, and other items as requested.
  • Documentation filing and organization for all current projects.
  • Managing miscellaneous tasks such as plan printing, pick up and organization, bank deposits, Land Development Office runs/visits, etc.
  • Office management related tasks including restocking office materials and refreshments, maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of the space, and organizing showroom samples and storage rooms.
