DW Distribution an SBP Brand is currently looking for an Outside Retail Sales Representative to join our VALUES based organization. Essential Functions Statement(s):

• The Retail Channel Sales Associate will report to the Branch Manager and will create demand for products in the Retail Dealer Channel.
• The Associate and the team will help to drive new growth in support of sales and operations.
• The ability to understand our business will be a major key to success in the role.
• We will provide an opportunity to collaborate, partner and take initiative.
• The Associate will prospect and generate new business, cold call on new opportunities to meet and exceed revenue goals.
• There will also be an opportunity to conduct training, host in store tabletop displays and offer technical support for dealer yards and builders across organization footprint.
• This role will have a visible presence with Pro Desk teams and key location team members.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Calling on Pro Desk at retail locations on a consistent basis Prepare and deliver sales proposals/presentations and follow up with key decision makers.
• Educate the Sales and Operations teams at the branch.
• Identify and resolve any customer issues and problems.
• Travel to job sites, customer locations, and trade shows to present products Maintain the professional appearance of company vehicle.
• Basic Knowledge of Building Material Take Off systems and Process.

Required credentials:

• Minimum 2 Years Sales and or Customer Service Experience Preferred
• Basic Building Materials or Construction Knowledge College degree preferred, but relevant work experience may be considered.
