About the role:

DuploCloud is currently looking to add an additional Business Development Manager who will oversee and lead a team of bright, driven business development representatives in the Denver, CO area. This role requires exceptional leadership and communication skills to guide the team towards achieving key performance targets. The successful candidate will be responsible for mentoring and coaching team members, managing their performance, and fostering a collaborative work environment that encourages growth and innovation.

  • Hire, lead, mentor, and motivate a team of business development professionals to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Set clear goals and KPIs for team members, providing regular feedback and performance evaluations.
  • Facilitate training and professional development opportunities for team members.
  • Create a collaborative and positive team culture, fostering open communication and shared success.
  • Monitor and assess the performance of team members against established KPIs.
  • Prepare and present regular performance reports and updates to senior management.
  • Provide guidance to team members in addressing challenges and obstacles in the business development process.
  • Make informed decisions to optimize team performance and achieve targets.
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to drive growth and market expansion.
  • Collaborate with senior management to align business development initiatives with overall company objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of management experience in business development.
  • Experience working in cloud infrastructure, devops and cyber-security space
  • Proven track record of leading teams to achieve or exceed sales targets.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and lead effectively.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other business development tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment.

Base compensation range not including OTE:
$105,000—$115,000 USD

The pay listed above is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Maryland, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, and Washington. The standard base pay range listed for this role may not be applicable to other locations.
