Responsibilities

• Responsible for business development of this area by identifying prospective customers through research, cold-calling, face-to-face meetings, and field testing.
• Build strong relationships with your customers while assessing their packaging needs.
• Work with our CRM system (NetSuite by Oracle) to record all activities, customer inquiries, calls, emails, appointments, and quotes.
• Participate in training seminars with the sales team, attend weekly team meetings and generate reports as required.
• Handle all inside and outside sales of your accounts.
• Develop client relationships (70%) and maintain client engagement (30%).
• Travel on the road to meet prospects 50/50 and commute to the office in-person.
• Assist with all other business development tasks for the region.

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of sales experience.
• Passionate about working with people.
• Motivated by exceeding objectives and achieving goals.
• Excellent time-management, adaptability and communication skills.
• Excellent ability to manage priorities, solve problems, meet objectives, and respect deadlines.
• Reliable personal equipment is required (laptop or PC, headset, camera, etc).
• Experience with CRM systems, NetSuite by Oracle is an asset.
• Valid driving license (clean driving record) and access to a reliable vehicle.

Work Hours: Full-time, Permanent, 8:00AM - 5:00PM EST

Location: Remote in Columbus, Ohio - Local travel required.

Salary: Starting base salary of 50K upwards (based on experience / education) plus applicable commissions
