Drug Abuse Alternatives Center is Hiring a Perinatal Program Manager (FT) Near Santa Rosa, CA
Center Point DAAC (Drug Abuse Alternatives Center) has an opening for a Perinatal AOD Program Manager to work within the Perinatal Day Treatment Program. This position works under the supervision of the Regional Director.
The Perinatal Program Manager oversees all aspects of the Perinatal day time IOP program. The Perinatal Program Manage also facilitates group presentations, maintains resource materials, and coordinates special events and group activities as needed. All AOD perinatal counselors report to the Perinatal Program Manage.
The requirements for the position include, but are not limited to the following:
a. Substance Abuse Certification from a State of California Accredited Institution; is required. Registration will not be accepted for this position. A bachelor's degree or higher education is preferred.
Qualified applicants must have related experience:
Working with pregnant and/or parenting women.
Demonstrate good group and individual counseling techniques.
Solid understanding of addiction and treatment.
Candidates must have the ability to function effectively within a busy work environment.
Possess good written and verbal communication skills.
The ability to maintain appropriate boundaries with clients and staff both on and off duty, as defined by agency ethical codes.
Experience managing AOD counselors.
Experience working with CPS, courts, and criminal justice agencies.
Experience managing data and reporting for federal grants.
Experience preparing for and responding to program audits.
