OverviewAs the Senior Security Engineer/Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the security of OHA s infrastructure and application development. You will work closely with the CISO and lead a team of information security engineers to help identify and mitigate risks, respond to incidents, and strengthen the overall security practices surrounding OHA s physical and virtual assets. You will have a strong technical background, serve as the escalation point for the Enterprise Security Team, and will lead technical implementations.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain thorough enterprise security strategies and policies
Work directly with the CISO to align on strategic efforts and focus areas for the Enterprise Security Team
Maintain and strengthen project management efforts with different teams
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Enterprise Security Team
Manage and oversee vulnerability management processes to ensure constant compliance
Manage and oversee application security practices and work with the development teams to mature the processes
Lead the technical incident response efforts and serve as an escalation point within the incident response framework
Collaborate with departments across the organization to ensure security best practices are being applied
Develop and conduct training programs and procedures to enhance security awareness
Establish and maintain relationships with vendors or other service providers
Lead technical implementations with the Enterprise Security Team for custom and vendor provided solutions
Provide architectural guidance to the IT team regarding newly proposed applications, designs, or integrations
Create and maintain executive reports to help illustrate the effectiveness of security controls to individuals and management in different business units
QualificationsBachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
Minimum of 7 years experience in information security
Minimum of 5 years technical experience working in a cloud environment AWS preferred
Strong understanding of network security, database security, cloud security, and application security
In-depth knowledge of security standards and regulatory compliance, such as ISO 27001, NIST, SOC1, Sarbanes-Oxley Act, and GDPR
Familiarity with a range of best-of-breed security tools and applications
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
CISSP and/or AWS Security certification preferred Compensation
The expected base salary for this position ranges from $180,000 - $215,000 per year and is based on a wide range of factors, including the individual s experience and skills for the role and market considerations. Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. Employees may be eligible for an annual discretionary performance-based bonus, which is determined based on firm and individual performance.
