Property Manager Job Description

San Francisco and Woodside, CA

Our client with homes in Woodside and San Francisco, is seeking a full-time Property Manager to join their dynamic team. We are searching for someone who pays close attention to details, demonstrates thoroughness in their tasks, can independently manage responsibilities while also collaborating effectively with colleagues, possesses strong communication skills, and carries a positive outlook and a sincere passion for their work every day. 

The primary location will be Woodside, but the selected Property Manager will divide their time between both properties, focusing on where the demand is greatest. This position demands adaptability to handle various duties across both locations, such as coordinating with clients, overseeing vendors, managing household facilities and systems, and leading projects as needed. The perfect fit for this role is someone who is proactive, embraces a hands-on approach, and believes no task is too big or too small.

Responsibilities:

• Interact with clients in a professional and approachable manner.
• Conduct weekly walk-throughs and house checks, assessing the cleanliness and functionality of all interior spaces.
• Perform weekly inspections of the exterior of all buildings.
• Demonstrate a keen eye for detail in all aspects of property care.
• Complete a monthly inventory of all household needs.
• Update inventory and house checks as needed.
• Implement and update household manuals regularly to ensure seamless operations.
• Maintain detailed vendor notes, including who/when/what/why information.
• Be hands-on and open to various tasks, from cleaning spills to moving furniture.
• Lift up to 40 lbs and be willing to access roofs, attic areas, crawl spaces, etc.
• Have a basic understanding of property features, including pool operations, HVAC, and smart home technology.
• Regularly inspect and ensure the proper functioning of all property systems.
• Perform or arrange for preventative maintenance.
• Coordinate and manage repairs, building, and landscaping work performed by vendors.
• Work with vendors in a warm and friendly manner while knowing when to question or push back.
• Coordinate with clients and household team members to ensure best practices are followed.
• Manage work-related calendar updates, emails, and texts efficiently.
• Be a fantastic team player – and assist others where needed. 

Requirements:

• Proven experience in private property management or a similar private service role.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment.
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, and reliable transportation.

• The candidate must sign an NDA and pass a thorough background check.
• Must be fully vaccinated for COVID.
• Must be a non-smoker/vaper!

Compensation and Benefits:

• $140,000 per year | DOE
