Established property management company seeking Senior Property Manager/Property Supervisor to handle property management operations. Our company, based in San Francisco, manages residential and commercial properties in San Francisco and the greater Bay Area.
The Property Supervisor will directly oversee the operational, fiscal, compliance, and physical management of buildings in the management of all buildings in our property portfolio. The Property Manager will oversee and supervise all apartment managers who reside in the properties. The position requires a team player with excellent organizational, administrative and interpersonal skills. He or she must exercise good judgment in problem solving and have a basic understanding of repairs and building systems. An ideal candidate must take emergency calls after hours if needed and has access to a vehicle. Parking will be provided.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum seven (7) years’ direct experience in residential and commercial Property Management
Experienced in troubleshooting repairs and maintenance issues
Excellent organizational, administrative, and communication skills (written and verbal)
General understanding of the unlawful detainer process, 3-day notices, and familiarity with rent control ordinances
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Property Management Software (i.e. Yardi, Appfolio, etc)
Professional references and detailed job history
Active Real Estate License
Snapshot of Responsibilities:
Property Inspections/Visiting properties (posting notices, investigate repairs, general inspection, meeting vendors, contractors, etc)
Supervise resident managers
Obtaining bids from contractors / Meeting contractors onsite for larger repairs
Correspondence with commercial and residential tenants
Placing advertising online for vacant residential and commercial units
Process & approve rental applicants
Oversee rent collection, delinquency, and rental increases
Monitor and approve contractor, handyperson, and vendor invoices
Supervise apartment turnover with resident apartment managers
Establish market rental rates for vacant units
