DIG Support is Hiring a Remote Business Development Lead

ABOUT THE ROLE:

DIG is searching for an entrepreneurial Business Development Lead to drive sales growth, and build brand awareness across all regions and sales channels. The Business Development Lead will manage a small, fast-paced, high-performing team responsible for driving brand awareness and maximizing revenue. Success in this role will be defined by revenue growth, identifying new promising partnerships, and ensuring impeccable guest service across every touchpoint. This role will partner with senior leadership, operations, product, and finance teams to deliver on quarterly targets. The Business Development Lead will report to the VP of Marketing. 

The Business Development Lead is a hybrid role, requiring you to balance time between our restaurants, hip-to-hip in-person time with direct reports, and with current/prospective guests on a weekly basis.

YOU WILL: 

  • Lead and mentor a team of Field Marketing Associates, providing guidance, coaching, and support to help them achieve individual and team targets.
  • Develop and implement strategies to generate high-quality leads, leveraging various channels such as cold outreach, inbound inquiries, and retargeting.
  • Identify, establish, and ultimately deepen relationships with corporate guests - from initial prospecting to ongoing relationship management.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies, client service and retention plans, and analyze sales data to inform marketing & outreach strategies.
  • Conduct market research to understand trends and engage with clients directly to understand corporate needs and make recommendations to improve product-market fit.
  • Track all outreach & conversion efforts to quickly identify best practices that can be applied to further outreach efforts.
  • Coordinate directly with the Operations team to ensure an optimal guest experience.
  • Work cross-functionally with other teams (e.g., Marketing, Tech, Guest Experience, Innovation) on other strategic projects that will drive revenue growth.
  • Plan and execute marketing events and activations tied to campaigns, new restaurant openings, and key markets.
  • Liaise with agency partners, managing briefing, execution, and performance of key brand initiatives.

YOU HAVE: 

  • Proven experience in a sales development role, with at least 2-3 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory position.
  • Track record of success in B2B sales, preferably within a startup or fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Never-say-die attitude to finding the right person, establishing the right connection, attending the right event, etc.
  • Amazing interpersonal, client-facing communication skills that you love to show off on a daily basis
  • Strong ownership and pride in your work - you follow through, aim for impact, and you have a passion for results
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to engage with various levels of management, staff, and clients
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data-driven insights to improve processes and drive performance.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g. Hubspot) and other Business Insight and lead generation tools

COMPENSATION RANGE: $110,000-130,000/year

Our salary ranges are rooted in the desire to pay competitively relative to our organization's size and industry, reflecting just one part of the total compensation package; additional components include bonus potential, healthcare benefits, various work perks, as well as opportunities for continued growth at DIG. Individual compensation decisions are determined by factors that include current market location, skills-based qualifications, prior work experience, and balancing internal equity relative to other DIG employees. We expect the majority of candidates who are offered roles at DIG to fall healthily within the ranges based on these factors
