We have a distinguished client list of closely held companies and high net worth individuals, and a growing team of skilled professionals who are smart, dedicated and fun to work with.Job DescriptionThe Senior Analyst position is in the firm’s Consulting Group: Forensic, Valuation, and Transaction Advisory Services. Analyst responsibilities include:Analysts work closely with the firm’s senior staff on project teamsAnalyzing financial statements and underlying accounting recordsAnalyzing economic and financial data using spreadsheets, programming, model building, and regression analysis Performing research on accounting and valuation standards and literatureConducting industry, market structure, and competitor-positioning studiesReviewing and summarizing analyst reports, client documents, and industry trade pressPerforming interview-based research through clients, government representatives, and industry associationsAssisting in the production and development of research summaries, expert reports, and the presentation of our findingsEnsuring the integrity and accuracy of analysesQualificationsWe are seeking an individual with three to five years of relevant work experience. The position requires a solid working knowledge of accounting and finance as well as command of a broad range of research and quantitative skills. We are seeking highly motivated undergraduates who have majored in accounting or finance. Other key skills include research experience; modeling and computer programming; knowledge of statistics; presentation and communication skills; and strong writing ability. Analysts must be able to work independently and in a group, manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and solve problems creatively.
