Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. As a BCBA, you will play a crucial role in providing behavioral therapy and support to individuals with special needs. Your expertise and knowledge in applied behavior analysis will be essential in developing and implementing effective treatment plans.
Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify behavioral needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Utilize applied behavior analysis techniques to implement evidence-based interventions
- Provide direct patient care, including behavioral therapy sessions and parent training
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including psychologists, educators, and medical staff
- Stay current with the latest research and developments in the field of applied behavior analysis
- Provide guidance and support to other team members, such as behavior technicians or assistants
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Bachelor's or master's degree in psychology, special education, or related field
- Experience working with children with special needs, preferably in a clinical or educational setting
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to behavioral health
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
