Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join our team. As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, you will be responsible for providing behavior analysis services to individuals with developmental disabilities, specifically focusing on autism spectrum disorders. Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify behavior goals and develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement behavior intervention strategies based on applied behavior analysis principles
- Provide direct behavioral therapy services to clients
- Collect and analyze data to monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as speech therapists and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive care for clients
- Train and supervise behavior technicians
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of client progress and treatment sessions
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in the field of behavior analysis
Skills:
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Strong knowledge of special education laws and regulations
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to developmental disabilities
- Proficiency in behavioral therapy techniques, including positive reinforcement and discrete trial training
- Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities
- Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data related to behavior change
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational skills for maintaining detailed records and documentation
