Job Title: Pediatric Dental Office Manager
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Pediatric Dental Office Manager. As the Office Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our practice. This position requires a skilled professional with a strong background in office management, a passion for pediatric dentistry and the ability to lead and collaborate with a diverse team.
Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of administrative and clinical staff to provide exceptional patient care and service.
Administrative Oversight: Manage day-to-day administrative tasks, including appointment scheduling, patient records, billing and insurance processing.
Financial Management: Oversee financial operations, including the preparation of end-of-month reports and maintaining financial records.
Patient Relations: Ensure a positive patient experience by addressing inquiries, resolving issues and maintaining a welcoming and child-friendly environment.
Staff Development: Facilitate ongoing training and professional development for office staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
Compliance: Stay current with industry regulations, privacy laws and other relevant guidelines to ensure the practice operates in accordance with all standards.
Vendor Relations: Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to maintain the timely and cost-effective procurement of office supplies and equipment.
Qualifications:
Experience: Previous office management experience, demonstrating a strong foundation in administrative and leadership responsibilities.
Team Player: Strong interpersonal and team building skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with team.
Management Skills: Proven experience in office management, including staff supervision, scheduling and end-of-month financial reporting.
Dental Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with dental terminology, procedures and office protocols, especially in the context of pediatric dentistry.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, parents and staff
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage the demands of a busy practice.
Technology Proficiency: Comfortable using dental software, practice management systems and other relevant office technologies.
