We are seeking a skilled and friendly Dental Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our dental practice, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth operations at the front desk. Previous dental reception and insurance estimates required. Possess strong organizational and communication skills, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanor
- Answer phone calls, recall patient and schedule appointments using our office phone system
- Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with completing necessary paperwork
- Collect and process payments from patients
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information
- Coordinate with dentist and assistant to ensure efficient patient flow
- Process billing and insurance claims as needed
- Provide exceptional customer service to all patients
Experience:
- Previous experience dental administrative role
- Familiarity with dental terminology, codes and procedures
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems such as OpenDental is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
