Busy, modern, high-end, multi-specialty dental office with multiple locations in Manhattan looking to add a Receptionist / Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our team. We are looking for someone who is responsible, reliable, punctual, and a team player. Candidate must have prior experience working in a dental office and knows how to use Dentrix.

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Have a pleasant demeanor as you check-in and check-out our patients
- Register patients and collect copays in preperation for their appointments.
- Check insurance eligibility.
- Answer phones.
- Schedule future appointments.
- Capable of explaining and discussing treatment plans.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Dental office experience.
- Proficient in using Dentrix.
- Highly functioning and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a professional yet friendly demeanor with patients, as well as with doctors, and fellow team members.
- Familiarity with dental procedure codes and billing.
- Familiarity with PPO and DHMO insurance plans.
- Experience with one or more dental specialties such us oral surgery, endo, perio or ortho is a plus.
-DAANCE Certified a plus.
-BLS / ACLS exam a plus.

Work schedule:
Your schedule can be based on your availability and needs to include a Saturday and/or Sunday. Once we establish a schedule that works for you, it will be set and consistent every week.

Expert Dental is open:
Mon - Fri 9am - 7pm
Sat & Sun 9am - 6pm

This is an in-person position.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
