Deeplocal is seeking a Senior Accountant who will be Responsible for various aspects of the month-end closing process including financial reporting, journal entries, reconciliations, as well as financial statement preparation and analysis. This role will be the contact point for the finance team regarding system workflow approvals, financial account management, accuracy of Cash, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, and Intercompany accounting.

This position can be hybrid with occasional work in our Sharpsburg studio.

Responsibilities:

• Month-End Close (accurate closing and reporting of company figures)
• Preparations Journal Entries in ERP tool, NetSuite
• Reconciliations and maintenance of all company accounts and subledgers
• Management and maintenance of Fixed Assets
• Bank Account management and analysis
• Lease Accounting with understanding of new Lease requirements
• Understanding of GAAP and IFRS rules and regulations
• Intercompany Reporting with parent company and sister agencies
• Point of contact for staff related to system approvals and workflow understanding
• Understand SOX risk and controls concepts along with ability to navigate internal controls audits
• Overtime as needed

Qualifications & Experience:

3-5 Years of accounting experience in publicly traded company setting

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office as well as G-Suite products

Highly organized, detail oriented, strong analytical skills

Good problem solving and time management skills

Experience in Creative / Tech Agency desired but not required

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent
