ACCOUNTANT

As an Accountant, you will play a key role in various financial activities, contributing to the success of the organization. OVERVIEW OF THE ACCOUNTANT ROLE:
- Maintains financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts.
- Prepares journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations and assists with monthly close processes
- Contributes to the development and review of annual operating budgets and performance projections.
- Accountant maintains documentation for accounts payable, purchasing, and treasury and conducting internal audits.
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Meets processing and reporting deadlines.
- Accountant responds to information requests, reviews financial statements, and assists with audits.
- Ensuring compliance with GAAP.
- Accountant assists the accounting manager as needed.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR ACCOUNTANT ROLE:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
- 2 years of accounting experience.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Working knowledge of GAAP.
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
- Good problem-solving and time management skills.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
