PurposeCare and its affiliate companies seek a highly motivated Senior Accountant to join our growing Accounting Team. This role will be a hybrid position with some office requirements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Work closely with the Controller to achieve a shorter accounting month-end close
- Work closely with the Controller and/or CFO to onboard new acquisitions and incorporate them into the month-end close
- Participate in month-end close for multiple companies in accordance with U.S. GAAP
- Submit work papers in reviewable form (including documentation) and within the proper time frame for review for a fast-growing company
- Review work of Staff team members
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications and Personal Attributes
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Outstanding team player skills
- Be results-oriented and maintain a high level of accuracy and efficiency
- Have strong organizational skills and be able to prioritize and multitask
- Be self-motivated and proactive
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- CPA Eligible preferred but not required
- Experience in public accounting a plus
- Experience with a wide range of GL systems (Sage Intacct highly preferred)
- Accounting experience (5 years minimum)
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook (Advanced Excel skills required)
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
