Odin Management LLC is Hiring a Collections Administrator Near Philadelphia, PA

Description

The Collections Administrator at Borr management and affiliated companies is responsible for effectively managing and coordinating all aspects of rent collection efforts for assigned properties. This position requires general knowledge of collections laws, as well as previous experience in the collections and/or property management industry. 

Requirements

  • Conduct rent collection efforts for assigned properties, ensuring compliance with relevant collections laws and company policies.
  • Coordinate with the on-site operations team to confirm that evictions are processed in a timely manner, in accordance with legal requirements.
  • Collaborate with third-party collections firms to coordinate collections after move-out efforts, ensuring the prompt recovery of outstanding balances.
  • File security deposit bond claims and ensure the receipt of timely payments, adhering to state regulations and company guidelines.
  • Work closely with Asset Managers to update expected cash flow monthly, providing accurate and up-to-date information for financial planning and reporting purposes.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of all collection activities and correspondences.
  • Stay updated on relevant industry regulations and best practices pertaining to collections and property management.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in collections and/or property management.
  • General knowledge of collections laws and etiquette.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient in using industry-specific software and tools such as property management software, Microsoft Excel, etc. 
  • Basic understanding of financial reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Other duties as assigned.
