Overview

 Marketing Manager

The Opportunity

Daikin is seeking a professional, skilled individual for our Daikin Marketing team located in Denver, CO. The Marketing Manager is a key strategic role that plans, develops, designs and implements strategic and tactical marketing plans for the organization through digital and non-digital channels to drive revenue. Directs content marketing activities, and identifies and prioritizes opportunities to maximize the customer experience and company’s effectiveness to communicate. Selects, develops, and supervises staff, as required by the Company. Aligns content priorities and funding to determine project direction. Responsibilities

May include: 

  • Formulate, evaluate, direct and/or coordinate marketing activities, processes and policies to promote products, programs, and services, based on knowledge of establishment objectives, market characteristics, trends, and costs, to enhance the customer experience and drive revenue.
  • Manage content creation to enhance the customer experience to drive sales, which may include product, programs or service offerings.
  • Work with market research studies and/or data to gain actionable knowledge regarding the types of products, programs or services expected, and drive sales through digital and content marketing.
  • Use sales forecasting or strategic planning to align marketing opportunities to ensure the sale and profitability of products, lines, programs or services, identifying business developments and monitoring market trends.
  • Aid promotional and programmatic activities, working with developers, advertisers, or production managers to market products, programs or services.
  • Consult with customers to gain knowledge regarding the types of products or services expected to be in demand.
  • Develop integrated marketing plans that engage with customers through various methods including collateral, events, loyalty marketing, email marketing and online marketing venues. 
  • Oversee Public Relations vendors and sponsorship relationships to align targeted Marketing efforts.
  • Oversee the creation of consumer materials for the rollout of new products or programs.
  • Serve as a brand editor for internal and external customers.
  • Work in conjunction with Sales and Product Development to define key selling propositions for various products
  • to execute marketing materials: advertising, collaterals, website, email blasts, and brochures – overseeing content, creation, and design.
  • Direct the hiring, training, or performance evaluations of assigned marketing staff and oversee their daily activities.
  • Participate in additional projects to support ongoing business needs

Qualifications

Nature and Scope:

  • Ensures work is aligned with the Director’s expectations, goals, and vision
  • Accountable for the implementation of policies, processes, and procedures for short-term results
  • Decisions and problem-solving are guided by policies, procedures and business plan; receives guidance from Senior Manager/Director
  • Works on difficult to moderately complex issues and projects
  • Provides guidance and training to subordinates
  • Has authority to hire, recommend pay, establish performance and recommend for termination
  • Level of signing authority established by company policy/guidelines

Knowledge and Skills: 

  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Ability to work creatively in a problem-solving environment and ability to adapt to changing priorities and react with appropriate sense of urgency.
  • Thrives in a dynamic work environment
  • Capable of communicating with people in different levels of organizations. (internal/external).
  • Uses creative approaches to assess data in complex systems
  • Strong understanding of digital and marketing strategy development and implementation in medium/large organizations.
  • Ability to inspire confidence and trust while holding team accountable to results; either individually and/or group.
  • Has the ability to understand or learn HVAC technology
  • Leadership and management skills
  • Practitioner of agile and lean methodology focus on process improvement is a plus.

Experience:

  • 10 plus years of experience in a strategic marketing role
  • 10 plus years of digital/content marketing experience
  • 3 plus years of leadership experience

Online marketing experience preferred: Search Engine Marketing SEM, Search Engine Optimization SEO, Pay Per Click PPC.

E-Commerce Platforms experience preferred: Amazon.com, Shopify.com, Adobe Commerce / Magento.

Marketing and Sales Automation CRM experience preferred: Salesforce, Hubspot

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field.

Pay Grade:

  • $101,675.00 - 127,337.00
