Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Staff Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct account reconciliations to ensure accuracy
- Utilize Quicken and software for financial analysis and reporting
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
- Knowledge of securities law to ensure compliance in financial transactions
- Manage debits, credits, and accrual accounting processes
- Apply GAAP principles to financial reporting
- Handle general ledger accounting tasks efficiently

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial services or related field
- Proficiency in Quicken, Xero, and other accounting software
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- CPA certification preferred but not required
