Cole, Scott & Kissane, P.A. is currently interviewing experienced Insurance Defense Litigation Legal Assistants for its Tampa office.

Applicants should have 2 years of litigation experience, be a self-starter, have excellent communication skills, and be well organized to join our fast-growing team. Insurance defense experience highly preferred. Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to two lawyers
- Handle all scheduling communication and maintain calendars with accuracy
- Locate and develop case relevant information
- Prepare routine correspondence and file/serve in accordance with court procedures
- Follow client guidelines and firm policies
- Follow Judge procedures for all submissions to the court

Qualifications:
- Experience in legal assistance in insurance defense
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with law, legal procedures, scheduling and protocols
- Proficient filing documents on the Florida E-Portal

- Experience scheduling with Mediators/Experts/Adverse Parties/Courts/Vendors
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
