CREST SERVICES is Hiring a Business Development Consultant Near Des Moines, IA

Our Business Development Consultant is part of the Crest Services Home Office and is a part of new department, which means there are many possibilities for growth, limited only by your own skills and desire to create new opportunities and drive business expansion.

What you’ll do:

The Business Development Consultant is responsible for developing new and maintaining existing service programs, expanding our geographic footprint, and advancing our mission by increasing the number of clients (members) we serve. We are seeking a Business Development Consultant to help us create sustainable business growth. In this position, you will help identify areas of business growth and prioritize /manage the intake process. If you have a passion for organization, are strategic and are interested in playing a vital role to help guide Crest Services' future growth, this would be an ideal position for you!

What you will do:

  • Work closely with Business Development Manager to analyze current state, identify trends and target areas for growth
  • Conduct market research and present findings
  • Create development strategies and plans for sustainable growth
  • Educate staff on new business growth strategies and oversee their implementation
  • Generate data and reports to show progress toward business development goals
  • Manage member intake process including, but not limited to: organize and prioritize referrals from Business Development Coordinator, schedule meet and greets, arrange other required stakeholder meetings, ensure staff are trained properly to meet the members' needs and diagnoses
  • Collaborate with the Operations Leadership team on community-specific information requests
  • Ensure all intake paperwork is completed in a timely manner and information is compliant

What you need:

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Research and analytical abilities
  • Decisiveness and strategic thinking skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong presentation and training skills
  • Above average technical skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Office products, SharePoint
  • Strong work ethic, and a high level of personal integrity and accountability
  • Understanding of market trends in the industry
  • Valid Driver's license, acceptable driving record, and a valid auto insurance policy
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of sales, business development, or related experience.

Bonus if you have:

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products (e.g., Excel, Word, SharePoint)
  • 2 years of exempt-level management experience
  • Familiarity with home and community-based services programs

Additional Details:

  • Schedule: 40 hours/week, Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm
  • Travel: Must be willing to routinely travel to support business operations, including occasional overnight stays using company vehicle.
