Farm Burau Financial Services is looking for a Lead Commercial Business Development Consultant who can support strategic commercial business initiatives related to business improvement, new business creation, and joint ventures. As a Lead Commercial Business Development Consultant you will be a key contributor to analysis, planning, and implementation of commercial strategies. What You Will Do:

• Support the commercial business development director as needed based on new and ongoing projects within the department.
• Support the commercial business units with initiatives to create consistency, efficiency, and identify opportunities.
• Define, implement, and monitor client service strategy consistent with the property / casualty companies’ mission and vision.
• Lead and manage the alignment of Property Casualty strategy with business units.
• Be the liaison with business units, enterprise strategy, marketing, sales, and IT to help support planning and analysis of initiatives and projects.

What It Takes to Join Our Team

• College Degree or equivalent plus 8 years of relevant experience required, including 3 years of business / strategic planning.
• Needs to have demonstrated leadership, customer service, team orientation, interpersonal, and technical / business / industry regulations skills.
• Must have excellent problem-solving skills, analytical and organizational skills.
• Must be results oriented and able to adapt and deal with ambiguous situations and manage expectations.
• Must keep up-to-date regarding local, state, and federal rules and regulations to insure compliance and meet company guidelines.
• Underwriting / Claims / Insurance / IT experience strongly preferred.
