Creek Technologies is Hiring a Proposal Manager Near Beavercreek, OH

CREEK TECHNOLOGIES COMPANY is seeking a full-time, experienced business Proposal Manager who will work collaboratively with a team of proposals and business development professionals to produce high-quality proposals responding to DoD and Federal government solicitations. This individual will be responsible for translating technical and management approaches, articulating win strategies, and weaving win themes throughout professional-grade responses to federal business opportunities. The selected candidate will have the skills required to own and develop compliant and compelling proposals containing multiple volumes (i.e., technical, management, past performance, and pricing).

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, production, and delivery of proposals to the company’s Government clients. • Gather, analyze, translate, and compose technical information into clear, readable documents to be used by technical and non-technical personnel • Presenting technical and management solutions to internal and external executive level stakeholders, in persuasive and convincing manner • Conduct research and ensure use of proper technical terminology • Collaborate with proposal writers, proposal managers, subject matter experts (SMEs), and solution architects to gather and transform technical and functional information into proposal artifacts • Analyze and decompose Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), Statement of Works, Performance Work Statements, and Sources Sought notices to understand customer requirements and develop compliant written responses • Collaborate with proposal managers, proposal coordinators, SMEs, etc. to develop innovative technical approaches, craft sound technical solutions, incorporate win themes, and articulate discriminators • May serve as the volume lead of a proposal by developing or integrating content from multiple sources into “one voice” for superior readability • Conduct or support proposal reviews with internal and external stakeholders • Ensure absolute compliance with solicitation requirements and criteria for evaluation • Maintain quality results by using templates, following proposal-writing standards (e.g., readability, consistency, and tone).

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship • Professional writing experience • Bachelor's Degree or higher • Proficient in MS Office suite and experience using SharePoint • Experienced with government solicitations and creating compliant proposal documents • Experience with Shipley proposal management processes • Excellent verbal and written business communications skills. • Ability to create graphic concepts to illustrate and clarify subject matter (i.e., organization charts, process workflow) using MS PowerPoint, Adobe InDesign, or Photoshop • Ability to clearly articulate technological concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders • Ability to interview and work with SMEs to acquire knowledge of subject matter • Ability to leverage existing content tailored to meet proposal requirements and produce a high-quality proposal in accordance with tight deadlines • Capacity to perform at high level in dynamic work environment • Ability to break down proposal requirements, responsively crafting win themes and discriminators • Strong organization skills and attention to detail • Superior verbal communications skills including public speaking and leading online collaboration meetings • Ability to work independently, as well as within teams, to develop compelling technical proposal materials • Five (5) or more years of technical experience specializing in proposal management and three (3) or more years of experience leading proposal teams.

• APMP or Shipley proposal certification • Proven written and oral communication abilities • Ability to work effectively in rapidly evolving, team environment • Editing skills, with excellent knowledge of grammar and punctuation. • Experience developing and delivering training on proposal processes and procedures • Adept at using MS Office products • Keen eye for detail • Ability to multitask in a deadline-driven environment • Strong organizational skills • Ability to communicate effectively to executives.
