Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP is Hiring a Legal Recruiting Coordinator Near New York, NY

OVERVIEW

We are actively recruiting for a Legal Recruiting Coordinator to work directly with the Legal Recruiting team and Hiring Partners to support various aspects of the Firm's legal recruiting programs. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinates multiple components of the Firm’s legal hiring programs;
  • Reviews in-bound resumes, identifies strong candidates for the Hiring Partners and coordinates appropriate responses;
  • Oversees on campus interview logistics for assigned schools including registration and feedback, interview packets, applicant selections, call back meetings and follow up correspondence;
  • Schedules and organizes call back interviews and discusses feedback with the Hiring Partners;
  • Works closely with internal teams to plan and coordinate recruiting events;
  • Interfaces regularly with law school students, firm attorneys and professional staff;
  • Produces ad hoc reporting for the Hiring Partners and others, as needed;
  • Assists with the preparation of annual hiring goals and post-mortem booklets;
  • Serves as a summer associate liaison, including conducting exit interviews;
  • Maintains accurate records and documentation within the department’s internal databases and tracking systems;
  • Assists with special projects and database testing, as needed;
  • Maintains updates to the Firm’s external career web page;
  • Assists with training for the junior members and temporary staff of Legal Recruiting team; and
  • Performs other duties, as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree;
  • Ideally 5 or more years of applicable experience in a service industry firm;
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to successfully work and interact with attorneys at all levels;
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail;
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and competing deadlines;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn, use and drive developments of various homegrown legal talent and recruiting applications;
  • Superior judgment and ability to deal discreetly with confidential information; and
  • Ability to work additional hours, as needed.

This position is located in our New York office, and currently has a hybrid work schedule, but that is subject to change. The hours for this position are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The estimated salary range for a Legal Recruiting Coordinator is $90,000 to $110,000. The actual salary offered will be based on a wide range of factors, including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and where applicable, licensure or certification obtained. Market and Firm factors are also considered. In addition to base salary and discretionary bonus(es), we offer a generous employee benefits package including, but not limited to, paid time off, medical, dental, vision care, 401(k) and substantial health club discounts.
