Crandall Corporation is Hiring an Administrative Assistant Near Lexington, SC

General Description:
We are looking for a person who can manage multiple tasks and who possesses excellent communication skills and a cheerful attitude. Candidates should be able to provide assistance by handling office tasks, providing assistance to compliance staff and management, providing polite and professional assistance via phone, mail, and e-mail, and being a positive presence in the workplace.
The ideal candidate should be professional, polite, and attentive while also being accurate. They should always be prepared and responsive, willing to meet each challenge directly. The ideal candidate must be comfortable with computers, general office tasks, and excel at both verbal and written communication. Equally important, the ideal candidate should have a genuine desire to meet the needs of others.
Duties and responsibilities:
Social Skills:
  • Must be able to communicate clearly.
  • Must be able to interact with customers and staff.
  • Must be personable and pleasant.
  • Must be able to get along with others.
Compliance Specialist Support:
  • Generate, print, and bind written safety and health plans.
  • Update internal records and customer management system.
  • Timely response to staff needs.
  • Complete assignments in a detailed and thorough fashion.
  • Support other departments as needed.
  • Process paperwork and reports.
Administrative Skills:
  • Must have initiative and be a self-starter.
  • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Computer and software data and information entry.
  • Complete tasks timely.
  • Work independently and with groups.
  • Maintain customer records and paperwork.
  • Thorough and accurate completion of reports/correspondence.
Qualifications:

Qualifications include:
  • Associates degree or greater preferred; High School diploma required.
  • Must be a self-starter and take initiative.
  • Excellent social/people skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office products.

Working conditions:
This position works in indoor environments in an office setting. Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods.
Physical requirements:
This position requires the ability to sit or stand for extended periods. This position requires occasional lifting of office supplies and boxes and physical filing of records.
