As a Carrier Sales Representative, you will develop, establish and maintain relationships with carriers/clients in the truckload marketplace by providing excellent customer service. Must have a knack for identifying, sourcing, and procuring new carrier relationships, as well as establish internal relationships within Cowtown to expand your book of business. he successful candidate will have great energy, focus, a passion for sales and a commitment to the growth and success of the company.

Duties:

• Generate monthly revenue and profit
• Maintain and increase average sale size
• Increase customer volume monthly
• Actively pursuing new customer while maintaining current customer relationships
• Consulting with brokers according to the needs and requirements of the load.
• Prospect and research new and emerging industries as opportunities
• Creating and maintaining a list/database of prospect clients

Skills:

• Strong Book of Business preferred
• 4 years experience
• Exceptional negotiation and communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Energetic, outgoing and friendly demeanor
• Self motivated and self directed
• Ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently
• Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
• Strong computer skills
• Bachelor's degree preferred
