Job Summary:
The VP of Business Development, under the direction of the CEO, is responsible for the overall success of the company’s institutional lead generation & database compliance program. Specifically, the VP ofBusiness Development will ensure that enterprise-wide lead generation goals and objectives are aligned with corporate OKR’s, and achieved by mentoring, training, leading & motivating the Business Development team.
The VP of Business Development will interface with key members of the operating team to include Sales, Marketing, Compliance, IT, Human Resources and Learning & Development. They will provide input into the overall direction of the company as it relates to top-of-funnel pipeline growth, sales-cycle acceleration, and lead nurturing best practices. The VP Business Development will be accountable for fostering a competitive, collaborative culture that promotes learning, social media/digital prospecting excellence, big picture understanding and the over-achievement of established goals and objectives.
