We're seeking a talented HR Assistant to join our Administrative Team at our main office in South Portland! **** 4 Day Work Week, 32 Hours ****

As the HR Assistant for Connections for Kids, you'll play an integral role in supporting our agency!

Job duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Assist with entering and electronic filing of training and HR documentation.
• Assists with completing pre-employment documentation for internal and external candidates as needed.
• General office functions.
• Assisting the Hiring Manager with the hiring process as needed; including but not limited to onboarding, hiring documents and computer entry.
• Complete both in and out of state background checks and reference checks
• Supporting CFK employees with questions or in need of assistance.
• Form good working relationships with other employees and professionals.
• Be sensitive to a wide range of cultural and socioeconomic attributes and assist in building an inclusive and diverse culture within CFK.
• Assist with new hire orientation when needed.
• Be Organized, detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines.
• Complete special projects and assignments in a timely manner.
• Manages and maintains confidentiality of records and client information.
• Complete other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications
If you...

• Have HR and administrative experience (required),
• Have experience using HRIS or other computer systems,
• Have a completed high school or equivilent, Bachelor's degree preferred,
• Have experience working with non-profits, DHHS, private agencies and other community resources,
• Are detail orientated with strong organizational skills,
• Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic,
