Position Summary

**This position is a combination of remote work and working onsite in Portland, Maine, depending on business needs.

The Human Resources Consultant provides expertise on a broad and comprehensive range of human resources activities and will lead/partner on work supporting (but not limited to) organizational development, engagement or DEI activities, team development, operational enhancements, and project management. The Consultant executes and implements organization change initiatives, working with the Center of Expertise and the business.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree required
• License/Certifications: Preferred certification in:
•  SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP)
•  SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP)
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Resources or related field required
• Excellent interpersonal, consulting, presentation, communication, organization, conflict management, project management and computer skills required
• Excellent critical thinking, analytical, and consultative skills, ability to diagnose problems, and resolve while considering the department/entity supporting and how solutions implemented could successfully impact care team members, culture and system holistically
