Connect Staffing, Inc. is seeking a customer service skilled Account Payable Assistant for company that manufactures generators and trailers in the city of Cypress CA.

This is a temporary position start date 4/8/2024 to 8/30/2024 

Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm no weekends.

Requirements of a Accounts Payable Assistant:

• Must have data entry skills
• Proficiency in English and in MS Office
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Proficient in using office software such as word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Prior experience in AP/AR, Accountant, and or Payroll Clerk is a must!

Responsibilities of a Accounts Payable Assistant:

• Perform general office duties, including photocopying, scanning, faxing, and filing.
• Organize and maintain physical and electronic files, ensuring documents are properly labeled, scanned, stored (physical and digital).
• Assist with basic accounting tasks such as processing invoices, expense reports, and maintaining financial records.
• Database and File Management: Organizing and maintaining electronic files, ensuring proper backups, and managing access permissions.
• Entering and updating information into databases, spreadsheets, or other computer systems. Accuracy and attention to detail are crucial in this aspect.
• Conduct basic research and compile information as requested.
• Collaborate with team members to support special projects or events.
• Uphold and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information and documents.
