The Customer Care Representative is primarily responsible for "meeting or exceeding client expectations" by providing a best-in-class client experience as a competitive advantage to current and prospective clients. This individual will be responsible for consistently answering calls in a manner that creates a strong sense of welcoming regardless of caller or call type. Calls may include general client and account questions as well complaints and other issues and will come from diverse individuals of many different backgrounds, abilities, and experiences with banking. The ability to quickly create a connection, establish a sense of rapport and professionalism, embrace a mindset of curiosity with challenging client issues, and listen with the intention of understanding are essential to the success of this role. This role works from a centralized phone center a majority of the time with some remote work opportunities.
Qualifications for this position are high school diploma, technical certificate, or equivalent required. Associate or bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field highly desired. A minimum of two years of banking, customer service, or retail, however, background, experience, and the ability to create value are also strong considerations.
