The purpose of this position is to provide administrative support services to the Teacher Education Department.Associate degree and three years of clerical experience working in an office environment.

Or a bachelor's degree and one year of identical experience. Experienced user of all Microsoft Office applications required.

Must be able to work occasional evening and weekend hours.

  • Assist and provide information on the Teacher Education degrees and programs to current and prospective students, employers, external stakeholders, and the college community in person and on the telephone.
  • Assist with special projects, meetings and / or special events.
  • Collaborate with department members to make promotional materials, newsletters and fliers.
  • Serve as liaison between the Teacher Education Department and other offices or organizations.
  • Research, analyze and process data into college systems.
  • Manage assigned components of department initiatives.
  • Create and maintain records and files for the Teacher Education Department programs.
  • Compile reports, documents, forms and correspondence.
