Job Description

Expanding Social Service agency is looking for a Full Time HR Director to join our team. The primary responsibility of the HR Director will be to support overall HR functions within a busy HR Department.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree and at least four years of experience in training and recruitment management. A car and driver’s license are required. We offer flexible hours and a comprehensive and competitive benefits package.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with senior leadership to understand the organization's goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention..
  • Administers or oversees the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; and training and development.
  • Identifies staffing and recruiting needs; develops and executes best practices for hiring and talent management.
  • Conducts research and analysis of organizational trends including review of reports and metrics from the organization's human resource information system (HRIS) or talent management system.
  • Monitors and ensures the organization's compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management..
  • Performs other duties as required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) preferred
  • Four years of relevant experience
  • Non-profit experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to develop rapport and relationships with all levels of the organization
  • Highly organized and self-motivated
  • Excellent computer and Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Willing and able to attend required trainings outside of normal work hours
  • Valid driver's license
  • Access to a car to use for work purposes
