Job Summary

Responsible for participating in the development of Company and Human Resources objectives, personnel philosophy and strategic planning in relation to personnel programs and trends in Human Resources management. Administers Human Resources policies and procedures as they pertain to all employees within the Company. Provides support and direction to Human Resources administrative staff in regard to Human Resources polices, EEO, wage and salary management, benefits and training. Directs training staff to ensure that all required training programs are completed and documented. As an HR Business Partner specializing in change management and strategic partnership, you will play a pivotal role in aligning human resources initiatives with organizational objective. You will collaborate closely with senior leaders, department leads and HR colleagues to drive organization change, foster a culture of innovation, and enhance employee engagement. Your expertise in change management methodologies and strategic thinking will be essential in guiding the organization through transformational initiatives and maximizing human capital effectiveness. May have responsibility for developing and managing budget.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Change Management
    • Develop and implement change management strategies to facilitate smooth transitions during organizational changes.
    • Lead change management initiatives by identifying potential risks, assessing impact , and developing mitigation plans to ensure successful adoption of change across all levels of the organizations.
    • Provides guidance and support to leaders and employees in navigating change processes, addressing concerns, and promoting a positive change culture.
  • Strategic Thought Partnership
    • Collaborate with leaders to understand business objectives, challenges, and opportunities and provide strategic insights on how HR initiatives can support organizational goals.
    • Partner with business leaders to anticipate future talent needs, identify skill gaps and develop workforce strategies to drive business performance.
    • Act as a trusted advisor to leaders by offering thought leadership on HR best practices, industry trends, and innovate approaches to talent management
  • Employee Engagement & Communications
    • Draft, design and implement communication strategies to effectively communicate changes, enhancements and process improvement, ensuring transparency and clarity.
    • Working with the Engagement COE monitor employee sentiment and engagement levels, leveraging data and feedback to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted interventions to support, sustain and enhance the employee experience.
    • Support and foster a culture of open communication and collaboration by facilitating regular feedback sessions, attending staff meetings and other forums for employee input.
  • Organizational Development and Capability Building
  • Assess organizational capabilities and identify opportunities for development to enhance performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Working with the ULearn COE delivery programs and initiatives to build leadership capabilities, foster innovation and promote a growth mindset culture.
  • Partner with HR Colleagues and COE teams to facilitate talent management initiatives, including but not limited to succession planning, performance management and career development
  • Develops, implements and coordinates policies and procedures for the Human Resources department to establish and maintain an effective department through managing, advising and motivating department employees.
  • Counsels management and employees on disciplinary actions and performance problems.
  • Oversees government, legal and regulatory requirements and/or complaints in various areas.
  • Leads department personnel, including direct supervision, hiring, training and performance management.
  • Operates HRIS system(s) to maintain appropriate data integrity.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
