As a member of our payroll operations team, you will be responsible for supervising staff and contributing to processing bi-weekly and special payrolls of over 9,000 Columbus City school district employees.
Under general direction, you may organize, coordinate, and review the work of payroll data input from external and internal sources. You may also perform a variety of technical analyses and accounting duties involved with processing payroll including; management of electronic and manual data, entering, verifying, processing payroll data, and maintaining payroll records. You will reconcile payroll reports, communicate with employees and outside stakeholders, and ensure adherence to established district practices, policies, procedures, bargaining unit agreements, rules, and regulations.
