Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team. As an Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our warehouse. You will work closely with the management team to ensure efficient and effective operations, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, including outbound and inbound.
- Communicate and oversee 8-10 drivers.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as OSHA regulations
- Implement and maintain warehouse management systems to optimize productivity and accuracy
- Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to minimize stock discrepancies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and resolve operational issues
- Train and develop team members to enhance their skills and performance
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within a distribution center or warehouse environment
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of logistics operations
- Familiarity with e-commerce fulfillment processes is preferred
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety protocols
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems to manage inventory control and order fulfillment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Proven track record in process improvement initiatives within a distribution center setting
