Business Development Representative

Reporting to: Director of Sales

Description:

The Business Development Manager is responsible for building strong relationships with our future partners in Utah. They will coordinate with company leadership to review current market opportunities and to propose new business ideas that will grow the business and Summit Event Rentals brand.

We are Colorado Party Rentals DBA Summit Event Rentals. We want every event for our clients to be unforgettable and we work tirelessly to ensure that their vision comes to life. We do this through personalized attention and quick, responsive communication. We are in the business of making memorable moments for our clients and having fun along the way.

Who you are:

  • You have 5-7 years of sales (outbound preferred) or business development experience. In hospitality.
  • Proven track record of building and growing referral-based partnerships.
  • You understand digital marketing and how best to leverage to attain new partner goals. SEO, PPC, social media strategy, content/email marketing.
  • Experience in campaign development. Setting a goal – increasing sales of a specific product, increasing brand awareness, expanding on current services.
  • Experience creating packages and custom offers is a huge plus.
  • You can work full-time and are available to travel for multiple days at a time, and ok with the occasional evening.
  • You can work independently from the road and an office. This role will be in office 40% and in field 60%.
  • You have CRM experience. ANY CRM – we will train you on ours.
  • You are an effective communicator - able to stimulate and motivate others while being aware of and responsive to their needs and concerns.
  • You are friendly, you get along with others, you play well on a team.
  • Details matter to you. Getting your offers delivered to a partner on time and free of errors is exciting to you!
  • You like being coached! You can take feedback without ego and are excited to grow with us!

Responsibilities:

  • Build a partner base. Via calls, emails, in person meetings and campaigns,
  • Take ownership of the Partner Retention Program – designed to keep current clients engaged.
  • Plan in-house marketing events for partners. IE wedding planners' luncheon, open houses.
  • Work with sales director to plan social media strategy for your market
  • Accurately enters reservations into inventory reservation software - ensuring proper execution and accuracy of events.
  • Conducts showroom demonstrations for partners and customers. Demoing design options.
  • Follows up with quotes via email and phone to convert them into event reservations.
  • Work coordinated with our in-house team to direct campaigns and promotions.
  • Attend sales coaching sessions with sales director and COO to improve your skills.
  • Attend two networking events per month.
  • Meet and exceed weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales metrics points (new partners recruited, sales activities).

What we offer:

  • Base Salary: $65,000-$75,000 per year DOE.
  • Commissions for rental order on all new partner reservations.
  • Mileage reimbursement.
  • Benefits Program: 4-PTO, paid Holidays. Dental insurance. Health Insurance plan after 90days (covers 75% employee, 25% dependents) .
