Job Description:

Responsibilities:

1. User-Centered Design Leadership: Lead user-centered design initiatives, guiding the design team in creating intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile applications. Champion user-centered design principles and methodologies across the organization.

2. User Research and Insights: Conduct in-depth user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gain insights into user needs, behaviors, and preferences. Use research findings to inform design decisions and drive innovation.

3. Wireframing and Prototyping: Develop wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to visualize design concepts and solutions. Utilize design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, or Figma to create high-fidelity prototypes that accurately represent the final product.

4. Visual Design Excellence: Create visually appealing and cohesive designs that enhance the overall user experience. Apply advanced design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques to create polished and aesthetically pleasing interfaces.

5. Usability Testing and Iteration: Lead usability testing sessions and gather feedback on design prototypes from users. Iterate on designs based on user feedback and usability findings to continuously improve the user experience.

6. Design System Development: Drive the development and maintenance of design systems, patterns, and standards to ensure consistency and scalability across products and platforms. Establish design guidelines and best practices for the design team to follow.

7. Collaboration and Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into compelling design solutions. Provide design leadership and mentorship to junior designers, fostering a culture of creativity and excellence.

8. Project Management and Delivery: Manage design projects from concept to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to prioritize tasks, allocate resources, and meet project milestones.

Qualifications:

1. Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in graphic design, interaction design, human-computer interaction, or a related field. Relevant coursework or certifications in UX/UI design is a plus.

2. Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing design projects, including wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and finished designs. The portfolio should demonstrate a strong understanding of design principles, creativity, and attention to detail.

3. Technical Skills: Expertise in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar. Proficiency in prototyping tools such as InVision or Proto.io. Advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is desirable but not required.

4. User-Centered Design Expertise: Extensive experience with user-centered design principles and methodologies. Proven track record of conducting user research, usability testing, and gathering qualitative and quantitative insights to inform design decisions.

5. Visual and Interaction Design Mastery: Demonstrated ability to create visually stunning and intuitive interfaces for web and mobile applications. Strong understanding of typography, color theory, layout design, and iconography.

6. Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Ability to articulate design ideas and concepts clearly and persuasively.

7. Leadership and Mentorship: Strong leadership skills with experience leading design teams and projects. Ability to inspire and mentor junior designers, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence.
