Job Summary :

The Credit Associateplays a key role in supporting the credit analysis team. Thisposition involves assisting with the evaluation of client financialinformation and preparing documentation to help make informedlending decisions.

The ideal candidate will have a foundationalunderstanding of financial principles and exhibit meticulousattention to detail.

Responsibilities :

• Assist senior credit analysts in collecting spreading andanalyzing financial statements.
• Conduct basic risk assessments onpotential and existing credit clients.
• Maintain accurate records of financial statements andclient interactions.
• Support the credit teamin daily administrative tasks.
• Engage withclients to collect financial data and clarify information asneeded.
• Monitor financial press and keep trackof market trends that can affect risk.
• Participate in meetings with senior analysts to learnabout risk assessment and financial analysis techniques.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degreein Finance Accounting Economics or related field.
• 12 years of experience in a financial role preferably incredit analysis or a similar function.
• Stronganalytical skills and basic understanding of financial statementsand ratios.
• Proficiency in Microsoft OfficeSuite especially Excel.
• Excellentorganizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communicationskills.
• Ability to work independently and aspart of a team.
