As a Ratings Associateyou will play a critical role in assessing the creditworthiness ofvarious entities including corporations financial institutionsinsurance companies and sovereign governments.

You will contributeto the development of ratings criteria and methodologies performanalytical reviews and ensure the accuracy and integrity of ratingprocesses and results.

Responsibilities

Ratings Analysis : Conduct thoroughquantitative and qualitative financial analysis to support theassignment of credit ratings.

Analyze financial statements markettrends industry data and economic indicators.

Research : Perform detailed research onspecific sectors geographic regions and thematic issues affectingcredit quality.

Prepare reports and presentations that summarizeresearch findings.

• MethodologyDevelopment : Assist in developing and refining ratingmethodologies models and frameworks to improve rating accuracy andrelevancy.
• StakeholderEngagement : Collaborate with senior analysts and otherstakeholders in the ratings process. Participate in meetings withissuers and investors to discuss ratings gather information andpresent findings.
• Documentation andReporting : Maintain comprehensive documentationsupporting rating decisions and processes. Ensure compliance withregulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Training and Development : Participatein ongoing training to enhance professional skills and stay currentwith industry developments.

Requirements

• Education : Bachelors degreein Finance Economics Business Administration or related field.Masters degree or professional certifications (e.g. CFA CPA)preferred.
• Experience : 13years of experience in financial analysis credit analysis or arelated field. Experience in a ratings agency is a plus.
• Skills :
• Stronganalytical and problemsolving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communicationskills.
• Proficiency in financial modeling andanalysis.
• Ability to interpret complexfinancial information.
• Strong organizationalskills and attention to detail.
• Technological Proficiency : Comfortwith MS Office Suite particularly Excel. Experience with financialanalysis software and databases is advantageous.
